Genre Elements Part 2

 As for the background story, it starts with a girl having a twisted family. She is the youngest in the family so they give her the princess treatment. But however, her family comes a frightening past. Something a lot of people can't escape from no matter how hard they try. And people will die trying. As the story eventually grows she uncovers the truth about her family and realizes she doesn't know them at all. And the day before she discovers the dead body who happens to be her brother she gets into a argument with him. He wasn't letting her go out and party because he felt she was too young for that lifestyle. And she wasn't listening which eventually pissed him off and he ended up saying something out of line. And you can already guess it she says "I wish you were dead". But in fact he didn't want to stop her from having fun but yet he knew something bad was suppose to happen at that party if she went. She obviously didn't listen and still went. At the party was getting wasted not giving a care in the world, but then ends up getting dropped off by her friend before anything can happen. So my opening scene consist of her waking up after a hangover and getting her wish granted.
