The Foundation Portfolio

 The Foundation Portfolio! This film is going to the first two minutes of a film. You can come up with any idea and just create the beginning of a film. There isn't suppose to be a middle or end. Which makes things a little tricky because then you can't go into too much detail. You don't want to overdo it because you don't want to lose your audience. Well at least for me I am going to start with something that gradually builds and builds. And eventually it just stops. I want to build the tension to engage my audience and then drop it. With this Foundation Portfolio since I am working by myself I like to say I have a bit more freedom. I am not relying on other people to do their part throughout the film. But it does give me a lot more work to do. And I choose the role of director for this film. I think that is what I am best at. And as for the other roles which are editor, sound designer, and cinematographer I still have to cover and do those jobs but I am going to be mainly focusing on directing for this film. 

And so it begins!

 And so the production of a new film project has begun. Well not entirely, but we are officially in pre-production mode. It is a little scary considering I am going to be working by myself on this project but that just means I have more rule over the entire project. As of a week ago, I started brainstorming film ideas because that's the tricky part. Thinking of the idea. But so far, my mind has settle on this one particular idea which I think and cross my fingers works out. Hopefully it's something that is actually film worthy. Considering this is only my second time creating a film, I don't expect much but i'm setting myself up for high standards. So lets just see how things play out.
